Research and Application of Epoxy Resin Curing Accelerators

Due to its excellent properties, epoxy resin has been widely used in fields such as adhesives, coatings, and composite materials. In order to increase the curing rate, and for some heat - sensitive components, temperature is an important factor and it is necessary to lower the curing temperature. Therefore, adding curing accelerators is essential. This paper mainly reviews the research progress and application status of epoxy resin curing accelerators, including tertiary amine and its salt - type curing accelerators, triphenylphosphine and its phosphonium - salt curing accelerators, substituted urea curing accelerators, imidazole and its salt - type curing accelerators, boron trifluoride - amine complex curing accelerators, etc., and points out the future development directions
